| 0:34.0 | moving forward is hard. |
| 0:35.9 | Um, but, you know, our industry shuts down. So it's like we get a real break. And I mean, you're able to sort of put a button on one year and like turn the page, which is really nice. I mean, speak for yourself on that. I didn't, I don't feel like I got it at all. You're like, I'm deep in the middle of the book of last year. Yeah. No, I mean, I don't feel like I'm a deep in the book of last year. I feel, and this makes sense astrologically after talking to Marv earlier this week. But we talked a lot about how 2026 there's a lot moving into Aries. And so we're going to feel this more fast pace. And I think you and I talked yesterday and like you're already feeling that. We're not quite to it yet. But this year is going to be where last year and the year before were more of these like years of closing things out, ending things that didn't, you know, like stopping things that didn't serve us and letting them go, releasing all of that stuff. |
| 1:30.2 | This year is way more action oriented energetically. And so like I think we're feeling that already or I know I am. Like January came out of the gate. And when I talked to you yesterday, it was the same for you. I say it didn't get the downtime or the shutdown or whatever. |
| 1:46.3 | I got the flu over the holidays. |
| 1:47.9 | And it was brutal, like brutal. |
| 1:50.8 | Everyone's, I mean, I just read a headline today that said the flu cases are at the highest they've been ever in the U.S. |
| 1:59.3 | I believe it. |
| 1:59.9 | I think I'm quoting that right. |
| 2:34.6 | Well, and like, I think what was so difficult is obviously so many of us were traveling during the holidays. And so I went to Chicago, which happens to be one of the hubs that's getting hit the hardest. But I knew I was in the airport. I was at like on the plane. Even in the bathroom at the airport, I remember hearing someone losing a lung coughing. And I was like, there's just no way I'm not getting sick after traveling. Yeah. Because it's just everywhere it felt like. So, and it hit me really hard. And I had like a massive shoot Monday of this week. And so like I did a fitting the day before. Like I just came out of the gate in January. Yes. Which I'm so grateful for. You're like this is just like 2025 part B. |
| 2:41.5 | You know like dot two. Right. 2035 squared. Yeah. But so anyway, it's like again, we always talk |
| 2:48.7 | about this in the podcast. I never want to complain about work as a freelancer. I'm so grateful. That's not at all what I'm trying to say. I just feel a little bit like it's not an ease into the year. Like sometimes we get in January. And so, yeah, it's just here we go. Guns a blazing. It made me think of something that I read. What you just said about, like, I don't want to complain. I wanted to share this with the listeners because I saw someone post it. A friend of mine posted and I screenshotted it because it was exactly what I needed to see on Monday morning coming back into work. |
