On the day of his gastric bypass surgery in 2006, he was 552. He got down to 276 at his lowest. However, shortly after gastric bypass he put the weight back on. At one point, he was trying to get a second bypass. For awhile, Scott looked into keto, but he knew he would fail. He knew he wouldn't prep properly, etc. When he ate lots of sugar and grains, he felt horrible. He developed hypoglycemia after gastric bypass. Since he started this way of eating, he's lost nearly 160lbs. The rest of his family is eating healthier, too. He's now under 300 lbs. For awhile, he didn't think this way of eating would work.
