In our busy world, family time frequently gets neglected.

It is vital that we give attention to our families while we can,

and it is especially important to give attention to what God says in his word about our homes. For the next few minutes, let's join Scott Pauli, as we open the scriptures and find God's

message for your family.

Most of us can remember either ourselves or children we were trying to encourage beginning to ride a bike.

Those early days are quite the adventure. And one of the things that makes it a little easier to learn is something called training wheels.

You remember them.

Those tiny little wheels placed on either side of the bike that helped just to steady the thing,

just to provide some stability so that the child can begin moving forward until finally he gets the hang of it,

she gets the hang of it, and off the training wheels come

and on the young person goes. Well, I want you to know in life, God provides training wheels for the

early days. They're not to last forever. They don't last forever. They shouldn't last forever.

You saw a 40-year-old man riding a bike with training wheels, you'd think something

is terribly wrong. But he provides training wheels early on for the proper training and preparation.

Then at some point, those aides go away, and each young person must go on with the Lord

for themselves. I draw your attention today in the book of

Proverbs to Proverbs chapter 22 and verse number six. Now we have been in

Proverbs 22 recently. In fact we looked at this portion of scripture where the

truth goes into the ear and then into the heart and out of the lips where we're

relaying truth to the next generation but I want to call your attention to a verse.
