What I learned about life from strawberry muffins.

So over the past 15 years as avid travelers,

we have stayed in easily thousands of different accommodations.

Some of them more memorable than others,

and some of them more memorable for various reasons.

But there's one that sticks out because of strawberry muffins. We were up in

Maine and Heather's family always vacations up in Maine and this is one the first times I was up there and

so we're going and we're looking for accommodations and we booked last minute which was

a reoccurring theme for us in the beginning of our travel years and nothing was

really available and we end up finding this place

called the Linwood Inn and it was nothing spectacular at all the rooms were

you know typical for that area a bit outdated and the bed was just average and nothing at all that would make

us ever remember this place. We stayed for one night. It wasn't until the next morning that this place became memorable because when we woke up

The owner was in the kitchen and she had put outside of our room a fresh tray of strawberry muffins.

Now I remember looking at them and thinking,

oh, this is going to be pretty good.

I'll never turn down free food.

And I've been in that strawberry muffin and not only was it delicious but I could tell that it was made with such a lot and she saw us she's like how do you like strawberry muffin? I'm like I never get strawberry muffins. This is incredible.

And she said, oh, okay.

Thanks, you know, glad to hear that.

And she came right back out, you know,

maybe five, ten minutes later,
