And the third big lesson that I learned from running an adult summer camp and this is an old marketing adage and it rang true to a tee here at camp was the fact that if you really want people to understand what you have to offer and you really want them to take you up on that, to buy your product or service or come to your

event or back you in whatever you're doing, you need to show and not tell. You see I tried so hard to get people to come to camp

2023 and I was telling them how incredible it would be in. Here are the

speakers and here's what we're going to be doing and this is perfect for you and here's why and I was

telling them that and and that's okay that's all I could do in that moment but

we only got 105 people to camp 2023 and not the 125 that we needed to break even

but then after people had come to camp and they had experienced camp for themselves and they had been

shown what camp was. We were able to very easily sell a hundred and forty 145 tickets to that next year's camp because I was able to

show them the experience they were able to get to feel it and understand it and know it versus just hearing it and saying yeah

that sounds pretty cool now they knew it was cool now they knew that they made

bonds with people at camp that were going to be lifelong friends.

Now they knew that they were taking away like nuggets of wisdom from these speakers and that their

life was going to be changed because they

can't went to camp. They knew it because they had experienced it because they

had been shown it instead of just being told it. So what in your life and what projects are you doing, what are you working on,

where you're sitting there telling people about it and how can you figure out a way to show them what it really is and to get them to experience it versus just telling them what it is?

It will drastically, drastically improve the success that you will have with that when you can show and not just tell.
