I love visiting a place that I haven't been that often like Lake

Lake Lake Lake Blas in New York and I love skiing but I still didn't go on this ski

trip. You see we had just finished up our awesome in-depth life-changing

retreat in Mexico and I was scheduled to get on a plane and fly to Philadelphia, get picked up my buddy's and go on this ski trip in Lake Placid.

And these are my best friends from high school.

And I was really jazzed up about this whole trip.

We've been planning it for months.

And I woke up that morning in Mexico City and I just felt like I couldn't do it.

I just felt like I needed space to really truly internalize and figure out all the stuff that had happened

over this past week at this retreat and I am the type of person who has

incredible FOMO I'm the type of person who has incredible FOMO. I'm the type of person who has never once, as an extrovert,

turned down the opportunity to be with other people, especially not my best friends,

especially not on a ski trip,

especially not in a place like Lake Placid.

And I sat there that morning, I was just wrestling with this.

And my head was saying, you know, of course you're going to go.

You have been planning this, you know, you want to hang out with them, you want to do this adventure.

And my heart and my body was just saying, you can't.

This isn't the way for you to reintegrate into life

even though it's going to be fun

after having such an experience.
