He talks about his experience during a recent getaway with Serena. (12:00) He made sure he got in some exercise while they were on the beach. But he can’t unsee what he witnessed while there: the percentage of people who were obese or morbidly obese. (17:00) He looked for 10 minutes and couldn’t find anyone with a normal BMI. (18:00) He and Anna clarify that he was not judging the people themselves--what he was feeling was how they must be struggling with metabolic conditions and sugar addiction. Food and sugar addiction is real, yet the number of sugary drinks and junk food as entertainment that surrounded him was saddening.
