What's going on, guys? Welcome back to Jeremy Scott Fitness podcast and radio show. Coming to you Saturday here, trying to wrap up some work, squeeze on my own workout, but I want to touch on this because this is a module. In our 47-day transformation, actually going through it today, they're on day 27 of 47, and the module is titled, Life is Hard. It's called from a popular blog and video. If you can find on our YouTube page, or if you Google Jeremy Scott Fitness, life is going to be hard. This will pop up. You guys can read the entire transcript. You can print it out and post it somewhere as a reality slap in the face when you start having, you know, what I call little whining moments or feeling sorry for yourself, if you will. Now, disclaimer here, if you guys are super, you know, I guess easily offended by hardcore words and personal truth, this probably isn't the podcast for you today or the blog itself, for that

But this is something that's real to me.

0:51.6

It's been real my whole life, and the older I get, the more true I hear and see it to be on a daily

basis. So with that said, the blog goes like this. Life is going to be hard. And again, I urge you

1:05.1

1:17.1

And I quote, tough shit, he used to tell me a lot of the times. Now, obviously, my dad is not a

1:22.6

college-educated man. He doesn't really mince words. He doesn't speak very eloquently, but it was a truth. And

1:28.9

he pretty much would say this to me any time I started complaining or acting like my life was

1:34.7

quote unquote too hard. Or if I came to him asking for something I really didn't need. For example,

1:40.1

I'd say, dad, I need 20 bucks for some basketball cards. And my dad's reply would be, tough shit.

1:45.8

I'm simple, to the point, and understood by me, especially in the tone he would say it

1:50.7

and the facial expression he would give me upon the reply.

1:54.4

The other little gem he shared with me numerous times when something like this,

1:58.4

and I quote, Jeremy, you can wish in one hand and you can shit in the other and see which one

2:02.6

fills up faster.

2:04.3

Again, might not be Shakespeare, but I understood it.

2:07.5

And again, I've shared that multiple times you guys in different podcasts and blogs and in my book as well.

2:13.1

No.

2:14.5

My old man, he can take some credit for me being the way that I am today a lot of
