Summary
In this episode, Jenna and Beth reflect on Lent as a pilgrimage, not a performance. Together they explore what it means to “settle in” with the Lord, to pray like you would meet a friend for coffee, and to allow God to love every part of your story...even the parts you’d rather throw away.
From learning how to be still, to noticing tension in our bodies, to encountering the Father who comes to meet us in the mud, this conversation is an invitation to walk with Jesus right where you are.
If you feel like you don’t know how to pray, if Lent feels confusing, or if you’re discovering that becoming who God made you to be is a lifelong journey, you’re in good company here. Wherever you are on the road, He is already with you.🕊️
Topics in this episode:
• Lent as a pilgrimage of becoming
• Why settling in is part of prayer
• God’s gentleness with our humanity
• The mercy that embraces our whole story
• Learning to receive grace instead of performing
🙏🏽 We’re praying for you this Lent.

Jenna has in her mind, she's believing lies about her voice that she's like not a good singer. It's true. But I never. And I'm not a good singer. I am next to Jenna in worship all the time and I'm never like, ooh. If anyone knows a vocal coach in the Phoenix Arizona area, I will take it. Here we go. You know what I really want? I think I've said this before. I just want someone to hear my voice and be like, wow, you are a star on the inside. |

| 1:41.3 | targeted ad. This is a targeted ad and I feel attacked. They are like, you're actually not speaking in your real voice. Like you need to, I don't know, go down or go up, basically. Yeah, whatever, I don't know. This is fake bet? It seems like an AI. It seems like an AI targeted ad. My voice should be here. here. Essentially, yeah, that's what the guy's like, I used to talk like this. And then he's like, and now I talk like this. And I'm like, I do, I think I have kind of, for years I thought I had a very low voice. Like I thought I had a really masculine voice. And now I'm like, is that me? It's kind of twingy. What's that word? It is twing. Twangy. It is. I know. You could be a country singer. I literally, I sit in my office and I just hear Jenny listening to my voice all day long. And I'm like, put in headphones. Oh, like Jenny is editing. Exactly. I see. I'm like, I don't need to hear that. Well, guys, you're looking at |
