We just were kind of conversing on Twitter.

I noticed that he had done some work with friends of mine on Saip Cinema on the subject

of Terence Malik, somebody who I'm interested in, I've seen a couple of his movies, Badlands and Thin Red Line, two of his earlier works.

I have not watched his earlier stuff, but he had just compiled and edited a book, the title of it, if you're watching on YouTube, is Life Above the Cloud's philosophy in the films of Terrence Malik.

realized they're more profound on second and their viewings or even from the beginning in that i was reading

through the book and i noticed that some of the reviews for Terrence and Malick's earlier films were

Pretty mediocre. They weren't as what they are looking at them today, but this book has a bunch of different or a variety of different essays compiled together. So if you're a

Siniast or a film critic, I would highly recommend you read through this.

I've read through the introductory essay that Steve wrote. The title of it is Malikian

cinema at the intersection of art and philosophy. But Steve is a writer and philosopher living
