Summary

We have a huge problem with school shooters, period.  But now the LGBTQ+ community seems to be stoking hatred toward the majority of Americans and we've got a trend of non-binary and trans shooters.  Nashville becomes the fourth in recent years.  We have to be able to call out and identify mental health problems when we see it but the left won't allow it.    At the same time, a far left professor at a major university posted on Facebook that when conservatives speak at the school, "it is far more admirable to kill than it is to shout them down."  Yes, we most certainly have a problem and you won't believe the punishment this professor received.    Donald Trump slams Ron DeSantis for his lack of loyalty to Trump... and he's right.  But it's politics, I"m not sure why anyone would think a person would stay loyal if they have more to gain being disloyal.     The Royals ride roller coasters before a pair of games against the Rangers in Arlington to wrap up pre season and the alleged bank robbing Chiefs superfan known as Chiefsaholic has skipped bail and is considered a dangerous fugutive.    Then, college basketball's transfer portal is open and FAU hits the Final Four with a great nickname.

Okay, so here's my promise for this episode of KKHI.

I'm not going to let this become a bummer, a downer.

Okay, we've got a couple of heavy topics here this time out.

0:23.9

And I think what we'll call this maybe is analysis or some insight into some of the things

0:30.3

that are causing societal problems in the United States today that don't seem to be as big

0:37.0

a deal worldwide as they are here in our country. And we see them

0:41.8

frequently. We see them on the news. And a lot of folks, it gets too hard. It gets too heavy. You know,

0:46.9

we're wanting to live our lives and be happy and love those that are in our family and people in

0:51.3

our circle and treat others well and live a happy and healthy

0:54.5

life. That's all we all really strive for. So it becomes difficult to deal with really heavy

0:59.2

issues on this podcast. And a lot of times I avoid them because they are just too dark and too

1:03.8

heavy. But this time around after watching the school shooting in Nashville break out.

1:11.1

And then subsequently we did a patron podcast in the afternoon yesterday on this before

1:15.2

we knew a whole lot about the shooter.

1:18.4

But I think there's just something so much bigger here that we have to address about what's

1:22.2

going on in our society.

1:23.4

And it's all kind of wrapped up into one giant, I don't know, like a ball of string.

1:30.6

It's just so bundled together and intertwined in so many ways that we can see it and kind of feel what we're doing wrong.

1:37.3

The question now is, what can we do about it to fix it?

1:41.5

As we've moved into the age of the Internet and the age of social media, and we understand
