on Mount Sinai saying, okay, so now we've rolled back the clock a little bit. Yeah. Right?

This is information around Sinai.

And it's going to, what we're going to read here, some of this was talked about a little back in Exodus.

So this isn't just like a retcon or something where like, oh, we're going to add to what God told Moses.

This is an elaboration on things that we already read in much less detail, right, back in Exodus that God told him.

The Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, speak to the children of Israel and say to them,

when you come into the land I give you, then the land shall keep a Sabbath to the Lord.

Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather its fruit.

But in the seventh year, there shall be a Sabbath rest for the land, a Sabbath to the Lord.

You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.

What grows by itself in your field, you shall not reap, nor gather the grapes of the vines

you dedicated for it is a year of rest for the land. So the products of the land during the Sabbath

year shall be food for you, for you, your male and female servants, your hired man and the alien who dwells with you.

And for your cattle and the wild animals in your land, all its produce shall be for food.

So, in addition to the Sabbath day, there is a Sabbath year.

Six years you work to feel like over.

Seventh year, you don't go and sew,

you don't go and gather,

whatever grows wild is for

the animals, for strangers,
