The Lord has put his name on Israel and how they behave and how they worship and the way they live their lives and the way they live in the presence of God is going to reflect something about God to the rest of the nations.

And so what Israel needs to do is walk in these ways and obey these commands and have a relationship with God that's mediated through the tabernacle system and through the priest as a way of showing the world what God is truly like.

instruction moves away from general commands to all people to specific commands about the

priesthood. So you might think of it for just trying to, I'm doing my best Jim and Sam attempt to

So 17 to 20 is like holiness of the people.

And 21 and 22, at least what we're going to begin with, is the holiness of the priests and their prepared offerings.
