Okay, chapter 18 of Leviticus on episode 28 of Thomas and the Bible.

This part of the Bible is so awesome.

Yeah, Leviticus lives up to its reputation, I got to say. It really does. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel,

and say unto them, I am the Lord, your God.

That way they'll know it's me.

Seriously, does he need to say that every single time?

I think maybe what's happening here is God has like 50 million universes

with 50 million different chosen peoples.

He's trying to talk to simultaneously on his God cast.

And he maybe like loses track of which ones or where, you know,

in the spectrum of being the chosen people.

So he's like, from time to time, he just, he has like,

that's his call sign, actually, his call, call letters for like a, you know, radio station.

I am the Lord your God. After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do.

And after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do, and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whether I bring you, shall you not do.

Neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

I got to say, I find this concept of a chosen people just absolutely hilarious.

What in the world is special about these people, aside from the fact that God seems to think there is something special about these people?

He's telling them not to be sinful like everybody else is.

So why couldn't he just tell everyone not to be sinful?
