But we're here to talk a little NBA and let's start with a very surprising extension.

Bobby Marks tweeted this that the last two extensions done in August were Jonas Balanchunis

and Michael Kid Grillcrust back in 2015.

Sergei Baca had one in August of 2012.

That was a four year, $48 million deal.

But I think the biggest difference to me, and we haven't talked about this yet, I don't

know if you agree.

But the biggest difference to me between these ones that I just mentioned and Carousel

Vert's three year, $52 million extension is that those other three were probably appeared

to be pretty player friendly.

This to me seems very, very team friendly.

There is a distinct chance that Carousel Vert outplays this contract to me.

There were times last year, especially pre-injury for me though.

I mean, he was one of their better players in the playoffs as well.

That he, you know, looks like he could be an end dynamic player.

It could be a good fit.

But it is a lot of money.

And like this is definite starter, starter money and Lever, his place on a really good team

is a little bit more nebulous.
