The theme of today's guided meditation is letting go. Actually letting go is an important

0:40.4

part of all of our meditations. It doesn't have to do with letting go of thoughts or feelings

0:46.5

in the sense that we no longer have them. It has to do with letting go of resistance to

0:52.1

our experience as it naturally unfolds. It has to do with letting go of an attempt to

3:27.0

that same, spontaneous way. Thoughts coming and going, emotions, all of your experience happens

3:42.2

effortlessly. And the mind makes commentaries on the experience, evaluates, judges what's

3:58.9

happening. Sometimes that can be very subtle. Perhaps you'll notice sometimes that there's

4:10.2

some resistance to some experience, some feeling that things should be different than they

4:17.5

are. Letting that go, not resisting any experience. Sometimes a pleasant experience will

4:45.7

come. And you may notice a tendency to try to hold on, to try to keep a particular experience
