I'm jumping back into the American Covenant book, and I'm so excited to see so many of you reading this book, and you're loving to read along with me.

I'm on page 111 right now, and there's a section here that I want to read to you. This is a letter that was

written from the pastor of the family of faith who were the pilgrims. And their little church was

essentially the Mayflower boat. And they were a little floating church going across the Atlantic

Ocean. And they knew that they had to move from not only governing themselves, but they would have to govern

one another as a brand new society when they got to the new world as the pilgrims landing in

North America, right? They landed outside their charter, so they had no government or laws there

to govern them, And so they had to

come up with their own. And their minister wisely instructed them in this. And listen to what he said.

He said, because you're going to have to form a civil government, he said, let your wisdom and your

godliness appear. That's right out of the scriptures in the Bible. Let your wisdom and your godliness appear. That's right out of the scriptures in the Bible.

Let your wisdom and your godliness appear.

Essentially, let what's inside of you, what's inside of your heart, your godliness and

your wisdom.

Let it appear outside.

Let it move from the inside of you to the outside of you and let it appear in these two

ways.
