happy freaking monday i hope you had a fabulous weekend i hope you're feeling well rested

and rejuvenated and ready to tackle whatever life might throw at you and i don't think that

that's asking too much from your favorite podcast host and for all of my american girlies i hope

that you get some form of a shortened week

this week to celebrate Thanksgiving this Thursday. I hope you get to celebrate Thanksgiving,

eating good food, and napping on the couch surrounded by people that you love. That's my wish for you.

And if you're traveling for Thanksgiving, my wish for you is that it goes as smoothly as

possible and that everything's on time and that you don't get stuck on a plane next to someone

who is suffering from some sort of respiratory illness and should probably seek medical

treatment and probably shouldn't be on a plane.

That's my wish for you.

That's my Thanksgiving wish for you guys.

Today we are celebrating Thanksgiving together as a family of prison guards and we are

practicing a tried and true American Thanksgiving tradition, which is sitting around the table

and talking about things that we're grateful for.

And I think that that's beautiful and it's really wholesome of us.

And I think it's something that we need this year more than ever is to talk and celebrate

the things that help us get through the day.

We need to talk about those things.

We really, really do.
