Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about

Yellowstone National Park and July 4th and what didn't happen on July 4th, what did not occur. We will go through a chain of events,

a timeline and just talk about what is known at this point in time.

If you haven't heard yet, it certainly appears via reporting that a major situation was averted because a whole bunch of people

over an extended period followed best practices.

Okay, so the timeline. We are talking about Yellowstone National Park.

It is shortly after midnight on July 4th. So we're talking about the

early morning of July 4th. According to reporting, a woman was held at gunpoint.

The person who was holding her indicated that they planned on committing a mass incident. Somehow at some point she was able to get away how that occurred isn't

isn't being reported yet that's not apparent she informed the Park Rangers.

The Park Rangers took the statement at face value,

took it seriously, and acted upon it.

They spent hours looking for this person. upon it

upon it.

based on the report it certainly appears that they had had rangers at places where a large number of people would be at.

Around 8 a.m.

they made contact with the person who was in possession of a semi-automatic rifle. The person opened fire on the service entrance of a

dining facility. During this process, one of the Rangers was hit. The Rangers returned fire to include the one who was hit and continued to

press until they remove the threat. There were roughly 200 people inside that dining

facility. It appears by all reporting that they followed best practices for eight hours or so,

and it really paid off. Had they not done that, this would be a very different

story being reported.
