Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about Trump

recasting Vivek. It wasn't too long ago that Vivek Ramoswamy was seen as part of Trump's inner circle.

He was going to be one half of Trump's team to cut government spending. Now, suddenly, Trump is encouraging

him to consider taking an appointment from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. The appointment would be

to the U.S. Senate to take over the seat being vacated by J.D. Vance. Now, the official line from

the governor's office is, quote,

neither Governor DeWine nor our office has commented on any possible candidates for the pending

appointment. But there is reporting that says the governor and Vivek had a meeting recently

and separate reporting discussing how Vivek feels about the whole

thing. According to that reporting, Vivek would rather just focus on government spending, but he'll do

what everybody wants him to do. And if that means go to the Senate, he'll go to the Senate.

It was only a few months ago that he posted to social media.

He was, quote, withdrawing myself from consideration for the pending Senate appointment.

It seems like both Ohio's lieutenant governor and Ramoswamy are under consideration for the seat.

But both are somewhat reluctant because they want to run for governor in 26. Dwayne is currently term limited. So, why would Trump

be encouraging Vivek to take the position? This is actually pretty shrewd of Trump. He solves one problem with another.

The Vec recently said something in support of immigrants, and the MAGA's social media wing

predictably turned on him. This gets somebody who has already given him a headache out of the

inner circle in a way that doesn't seem like he's just being shown the door.

It also gives him a loyalist in the Senate he can count on and somebody that must seems to have a good relationship with.

So, there's probably a hope that Vivek might be able to sell senators on Trump's spending

priorities. Now, there's no way of knowing yet whether or not this push will be successful. But,
