Well, howdy there, internet people, it's spell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Virginia's redistricting loss for Trump. Trump was incredibly worried about the midterm elections,

even before the economy soured. Gas prices went up. The effects of his one big, beautiful for

billionaires package was felt, and he decided to thrust the U.S. into an elective war for reasons

he still can't really explain. Because of that, he pushed Republicans across the country

to redistrict and gerrymander,

so he could choose the voters instead of the voters choosing representatives.

So far, it looks like it has massively backfired on Trump.

Not just in the fact that it upset voters and caused a large rift between the state-level Republicans

and the federal-level Republicans, but in the fact that it looks like Texas might have gerrymandered

poorly and created a dummymander. Some Republicans rebelled, and some Democrats decided to fight fire with fire.

Like California, Virginia took the idea of redistricting to their voters. The referendum went in

favor of Democrats, who are expected to pick up four more seats.

And well, as conservative commentator, Eric Erickson put it.

Republicans came up with the idea of the mid-decade redistricting fight and started in Texas.

Then, in Virginia, the R&C spent zero dollars to fight.

Now as drawn, the Democrats have an advantage from the redistricting fight.

Democrats won in Virginia. And even if that win is undone in the inevitable legal battles to

follow, Trump was handed another devastating loss. Not just has his leadership led to Republicans

losing constantly throughout special elections. Not just has his idea spiraled
