Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about the

5th District of Virginia, the 5th Congressional District and the Republican primary

race there.

This is one that I said he should watch because it was going to be interesting.

I'm filming this last night.

Every other district in the state is called.

95% reporting, 62,500 votes or so.

And the two candidates, well,

they're separated by about 300 votes.

The reason this one is interesting is because the race is between Good, who is chair of the Freedom Caucus, and McGuire, who was endorsed by Trump, because Trump got

mad at good for endorsingSantis. This was going to be a test of Trump's endorsement power

when it came to high-profile races because he put a lot into this one.

His candidate is currently up by a fraction of a percent.

Now when we talked about this last time I kind of made a joke about how

McCarthy would be able to say well I really put him over the edge because McCarthy came out against good as well because good

well good is part of the reason McCarthy's no longer speaker of the house.

This was part of McCarthy's revenge to her.

When we talked about it before, I kind of said it as a joke.

But here's the thing, McCarthy coming out the way he did? I guarantee you it swung more than 300 votes.

Which means without McCarthy, Trump's candidate would be losing.

It was a joke a couple days ago.

I didn't expect it to be this close.
