Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about

some election year shenanigans and a trend that has started dealing with naming or renaming things after former President Trump.

We're going to do this because there are a number of proposals

up on Capitol Hill designed to do just that.

So we will talk about some of the things that are being suggested and talk about the various

reasons why they might be suggested. In a trend totally suitable of dear leader, there are quite a few. So let's start with the $500 bill. There is a proposal to bring that back and put Trump's picture on it. That would be one. Another is to

rename Dulles International Airport after him. Another which isn't really naming something after him,

but it goes along the same lines,

to award him with a Congressional Gold Medal

for, get this, his foreign policy, which, wow.

And the one that I think is most interesting, and I'm sure it's the one that Trump wants

the most, would be to have the coastal exclusive economic zone of the United States named after him.

Why would he want that the most?

Because it's a massive area.

To put it into context, I want to say it's 4.3 million square miles.

To put that into context, the United States is around 3.8 million. It would be an area larger than the U.S. that they want to name

after Trump. Okay, so the obvious question is why, right? Now the people putting these proposals

forward they have their own reasons, their unstated reasons.

Some say that he's truly deserving of it.

The one about the $500 bill. My understanding is that that's being presented as a way to draw attention

to inflation. Now the speculation is a little bit more cynical. Most people, most political

commentators are saying that this is really being done so the people who are supporting these proposals can get the
