So today, we're going to talk about Trump versus MTG, Epstein Edition.

Well, we got a little insight into what caused Trump to turn on one of his most loyal supporters now.

It was a development that probably had a pretty big influence

on the eventual resignation of Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Green of Georgia.

And it comes at a time when there's other news related to Trump's ongoing issue.

While on 60 Minutes, she talked about her relationship with Trump and said, quote,

We did talk about the Epstein files, and he was extremely angry at me that I signed the discharge petition to release the files.

I fully believe those women deserve everything they're asking.

They're asking for it to come out.

They deserve it.

She continued.

He was furious with me.

He said it was going to hurt people.

When his most loyal defender and foot soldier resigned,

Trump called it, quote,

Great news for the country.

Eventually, Trump reversed and suffered a pretty humiliating blow when after he mounted a month-long pressure campaign to defeat the discharge petition. It succeeded. And then every single

member of Congress except one, push the Epstein

Files Transparency Act through. True or not, it created the appearance that it was Trump

blocking the release the whole time, which of course was bad for Trump, since he made

releasing the files a campaign promise.
