Well, howdy there, internet people, it's bell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Trump versus MAGA, Russia Edition. Trump is using increasingly stern wording with Russia.

Still soft compared to other administrations, but strong for him. Now, we have to acknowledge

that it's Trump, so we have no idea how long

this new rhetoric will last. He could be talking about how great Putin is before this video even

goes out. Let's just call it what it is. Trump doesn't have foreign policy. He has moods related to

other countries. But at the moment,

his rhetoric is putting him at odds with a lot of MAGA commentators that have fully bought

into a lot of Russian talking points. And some that just have a very different worldview.

If Trump continues down this road, they will have to make a choice between aligning

with Trump or staying consistent with their previous rhetoric. Trump's base overlooks his

ridiculously inconsistent positions, but they're less forgiving with commentators.

You're already seeing some break with Trump. One of Tucker Carlson's

favored guests, Douglas McGregor, a former Army colonel, has referred to Trump's

shifting position as a quote, peak of disappointment. So you can add him to the

group of people like Elon who are using disappointed as a descriptor for Trump policies.

McGregor went on to say, quote,

It looks like President Trump has done a 180 degree turn.

He's moved from a position that was viewed as reasonable with potential goodness for everyone concerned, to a position

that is indistinguishable from Lindsey Graham.

Senator Graham, who also left the military as a colonel, has long been in favor of tougher

stances against Putin.
