the U.S. saving Europe, and a shift. As the U.S. makes more and more demands of NATO,

and Trump slowly undermines the most important alliance the United States has.

It's become clear that many Americans obtain their view of history from movies,

and sometimes from movies they obviously slept through.

Because they've read more history books? Contrary to popular belief, the U.S. didn't step in

to save Europe's skin during the world wars, which is what I assume you're talking about, even though

World War I was more than a century ago.

We stepped in out of our own interests after trying to sit it out.
