So today, we're going to talk about Trump taxing millionaires more.

Over the last week or two, there have been grumblings about taxing the rich from within some in the GOP.

Specifically, those who want to honor Trump's promises about cutting the deficit.

Those who really, really want to cut services to low-income people also want to slightly

increase the tax rates for the richest Americans.

I haven't talked about it, and the fact that I haven't talked about it led to this message. Quote, you've said over and over again that Trump's tax cuts would benefit the wealthy.

Care to eat your word that starts with an F words publicly?

In case you missed it, Trump is going to tax the rich.

Republicans in the House are on board. I know you didn't miss it.

You just don't want to talk about it. Typical liberal, just ignoring things that don't fit your

narrative. You make videos all the time from Republicans who write in with the dumbest possible message.

Make one with this one, but I know you won't.

So at this point, you probably realize I'm either about to eat my words, or this is going

to be a really funny video. This message is two days old. I'm going to start by providing some quotes. Let's start

with Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, talking about the idea of raising taxes on the rich.

Quote, I would not expect that. We have been working against that idea. I'm not in favor of raising the tax rates because

our party is the group that stands against that traditionally. Now, let's go to Trump himself.

Quote, I think it would be very disruptive because a lot of the millionaires would leave the country.

The old days, they left states. They go from one state to the other. Now, with transportation so quick and so easy, they leave countries. You'll lose a lot of money if you do that. And other countries that have done it have lost a lot of people. They lose their wealthy people.

That would be bad because the wealthy people pay the tax. Both of those quotes are from the last 48 hours or so. Here's a pro tip. Politicians lie. It's one of the base rules we go by here. The Republican
