So today, we're going to talk about Trump suing the Wall Street Journal.

In the ever-growing scandal surrounding Trump's connections,

Trump is now half-heartedly trying to reunite his base.

The Wall Street Journal article seems to have given

the President the opportunity to try. Trump, at his core, appeals to nationalist mindsets. Nationalist

ideologies need opposition. Trump is swinging the Wall Street Journal into that role. On the off-chance that you miss the development, the Wall Street Journal into that role.

On the off chance that you missed the development,

the Wall Street Journal ran an article,

claiming that Trump gave a picture of a woman with a little narration to Epstein for his birthday.

Trump says it's a fake, and filed suit asking for 20 billion. Trump says the article is, quote,

false, defamatory, unsubstantiated and disparaging. Obviously, whether or not the article is libelous

is now a matter for the courts. And I can't say much beyond, I'd be surprised if the Wall

Street Journal's fact-checking and sourcing process failed that hard. This would be a massive

failure. Many of Trump's defenders on social media are having a hard time throwing up defenses.

The first was that Trump doesn't draw.

His biggest supporters were surprised to find out that while he's no Van Gogh, he does in fact

draw and has had drawings go up for auction.

Then it was that Trump doesn't do narrations. I'm not so sure of that.

I was at the Waffle House the other day and this man came up to me, a big man, a strong man,

with tears in his eyes and he said, ma'am, I love Donald Trump. It was like nothing you'd ever seen.

Obviously, that's a joke.
