Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about Trump's

support already faltering on his key subject. Trump built his mystique around the idea that he's going to be good for the economy.

Many people, even those who aren't MAGA, believed this.

Well, that support seems to have fallen off the wall, along with the economy.

Polling of a thousand Americans by CNBC says that the belief that Trump is good for the economy and that he's handling it well is plummeting to new lows.

While only 51% of Americans in the poll

disapprove of Trump's presidency, something something mandate, a whopping 55% disapprove

his handling of the economy. That's the first time in any CNBC poll while president that he

was net negative on the economy. Beyond that, a lot of

people think that the worst is still ahead. 83% of Democrats and 54% of independents see the

economy getting worse over the next year. Even about a quarter of Republicans are starting to doubt

their choice.

Independence are 23 points more negative than the average during his first term.

This spells major issues for the Republican Party as a whole.

Congressional lawmakers have been running interference and co-signing Trump's economic policies the whole time.

What's worse for the GOP members in Congress? The things that are most visible and will be directly felt the most haven't even happened yet and are buried in the budget reconciliation package

they've devoted pretty much the entire first 100 days to working out.

In what may be the most bizarre of political circumstances, if Republicans ultimately fail to come

together on their budget plans in the House and the Senate, it might be the best political

situation for them. If it passes, they'll rightly be blamed, as programs are

cut, spending is reduced, and the effects are felt all over the country. It's actually gotten so
