Trump's IRS deal being voided. The ruling from U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams was

pretty blunt and pretty final. The simple version of the ruling is that Trump's deal with the IRS was

voided because the lawsuit that was the catalyst for the $1.776 billion anti-weaponization fund

amounted to collusion. Trump sued his own administration and then worked out a deal with his own administration.

The ruling went on to sanction some attorneys on the case and imply that acting attorney general

Todd Blanche should be disciplined. I'm sure that will go over great during confirmation hearings.

On Blanche's actions, the judge wrote,

Acting Attorney General Blanche's apparent capacity to speak for both plaintiffs and defendants,

sign a settlement document on behalf of all parties to this action,

and then repudiate part of that agreement,

demonstrates that there was only one party whose interests were being represented throughout this case.
