So today, we're going to talk about Trump's Air Force One problem.

Reporting came out saying Trump was going to accept a $400 million plane from Qatar.

The plane was described as a palace in the sky.

The reports say the plane is supposed to fill in as Air Force One and then be donated to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation. Immediately, constitutional scholars, legal scholars, and ethics experts pan the idea. A former White House ethics czar summed up most opinions by describing the potential transaction as, quote, illegal and unconstitutional. Trump, of course,

defended the potential gift by saying, quote, so the fact that the Defense Department is getting a gift

free of charge of a 747 aircraft to replace the 40-year-old Air Force One temporarily in a very

public and transparent transaction so bothers the crooked Democrats that they insist we pay top dollar for the plane.

Anybody can do that. The Dems are world-class losers. Maga.

The law is pretty clear on public officials accepting gifts. But rather than rehash the legal,

ethical, and constitutional questions, I have some

questions of my own. The plane is reportedly worth 400 million. Okay, cool. Boeing's initial contract

for two planes to be used to transport the president was reportedly 3.9 billion, and they have run into more than

2 billion in cost overruns. That's almost 3 billion per plane versus 400 million.

I wonder what the other $2.5 billion is. Is the reportedly $400 million plane capable of in-flight refueling? Is it hardened against the level of electromagnetic pulse associated with a nuclear blast? Does it have an operating room and medical facilities? What about the hardened crash area? Is it plugged into the U.S. government's secure communications

networks? If it is, how did that happen? Does it have flares? No, not those kind, the kind that are ejected from the plane to throw off heat-seeking missiles.

Does it have the ECM to jam opposition radar?

Does it have the IRCM jammers? I could go on, but I don't think I need to. And this doesn't

even cover the security features that would certainly exist that aren't public record. I know that

some Pentagon sources have said

they'll probably add at least some of these features. Then it sounds like adding features to a

plane that Trump will be able to keep as part of the foundation afterward. How much will that cost?
