Well, howdy there, Internet people? It's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump refusing to sign the affordability bill and it becoming law anyway.

Trump has been making a lot of unforced errors recently. This is definitely going on the list. But when he posted to

social media about it, he gave us a little insight into why he might be preoccupied.

Okay, so what happened? Congress passed a bipartisan bill that is supposed to help with housing

affordability. Now look, this thing is nowhere

near enough, and some of the most talked about parts have loopholes in them so large you could

drive a bulldozer through. But there are a few good parts that would help the working class.

Since it helps the working class, even just a little

bit, you know Trump came out against it, but it passed anyway. And then he refused to sign it,

and he's having very big feelings about it. He posted a couple hundred-word rant to social media, which I'll read two parts of,

one because it relates to the news, and one because it doesn't. Trump posted, quote,

I will not sign the housing bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House,

in protest over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing the Save America

Act, which is polling at 97% with the Republican Party, and very high with the non-politician Democrats. That's right. Trump is protesting the

passage of the housing bill by not signing. But since he didn't veto it, it becomes law 10

congressional days after passage. Not on the second, by the way. Trump is showing off his great deal-making and leveraging

abilities, whining and crying and demanding something on social media. Rather than just sign the

bill to help working-class Americans, he sent out a social media message showing exactly how little the working

class means to him. You mean nothing. Literally nothing. He refused to sign the bill

simply to grandstand with empty social media rhetoric about something that will give him more power.

Helping the working class and getting the political clout for doing something,
