So today, we're going to talk about Trump, not keeping his mouth shut.

Failures are known, successes are not.

That's the unofficial motto of every alphabet soup affiliated person in the world.

Anybody who has ever had to memorize the details of a passport on their way to the airport

knows that if they did their job well, nobody will ever know.

Apparently, Trump still hasn't figured out the importance of keeping his mouth closed when

it comes to national security. A Fox News correspondent said, quote, President Trump told me,

the United States sent guns to the Iranian protesters. He tells me, we sent them a lot of guns. We sent them through the Kurds. And the

president says he thinks the Kurds kept them. While many might have suspected that U.S. influence

was at play, especially with Trump trying to direct their activities via social media posts in a country where the

internet is down. It was suspected. It wasn't known. But Trump's reported comments imply that

U.S. intelligence had contact with the protesters, at least enough to know who to direct

Kurdish contacts to get the weapons to.

If only, there was some sign that Trump couldn't be trusted with national security

before the American people chose to re-elect him.

Trump has completely undermined any opposition within Iran, through his desire to share secrets and seem like he's in control.

The government there can now paint the entirety of the opposition in the country as U.S. influenced or controlled.

Even the opposition that's organic can now successfully be painted by Tehran,

as in league with the U.S. It's unlikely that he understands how much he hurt U.S. efforts,

or the people he was pretending to care about a few months ago when they were in the streets.

Accepting weapons from a country that's bombing yours, even through an intermediary, would
