So today, we're going to talk about another Trump ally, calling it quits, with a duplicate on the way.

After Marjorie Taylor Green's announcement, Capitol Hill Insiders said more announcements would be on the way. While many were

kind of waiting for Representative Don Bacon of Nebraska to storm out of the Capitol announcing his

exit like the guy from half baked, it looks like the next person to want to wave goodbye to the U.S.

House of Representatives is Representative

Troy Nels of Texas. Although, he might have different motivations. He's been a strong ally of

Trump's and has enjoyed a friendly relationship with him, something that he pointed out in his

announcement.

Quote, I have made the decision after conversations with my beautiful bride and my girls over the Thanksgiving holiday to focus on my family and return home after this Congress.

Before making this decision, I called President Trump personally to let him know of my plans.

President Trump has always been a strong ally for our district and a true friend, and I wanted

him to hear it from me first.

This announcement means half a dozen Texas Republicans are calling it quits this term.

There's a growing sense of unease plaguing Republicans in the House and a belief that they'll be

in the minority after the midterms.

So, Trump is losing another staunch ally.

However, he might be getting a duplicate.

Shortly after, Troy Nels made his announcement, Trevor Nels announced he'd be running.

Trevor is Troy's brother, twin brother. Identical twin brother.

In a statement posted to social media, Trevor Nels wrote quote, I am honored to announce my candidacy for Congressional District 22 to continue fighting
