Well, howdy there internet people, it's Bell again. So today we're going to talk

about Harris, taxes, Trump, promises and realities. Back in June, Trump said if

elected he would eliminate taxes on tips for service workers.

Harris has now echoed that, along with the promise to try to increase the minimum wage, saying, it is my promise to everyone here that when I am

president we will continue our fight for working families of America, including to raise the

minimum wage and eliminate taxes on tips for service and

hospitality workers. Trump of course accused Harris of stealing his idea.

Trump seems unaware that candidates don't get to call Dibs on policy position

and then force the other party's candidate into opposing them.

Somebody working for all Americans would take good policy no matter where it came from.

Both candidates made their promise in Vegas, a city that runs on tips.

Undoubtedly, the goal is to catch the attention of tipped workers in a swing state.

The culinary workers union, Local 226, released a statement,

as the largest organization of working women in Nevada, the

chance to elect the first woman president in the USA is both energizing and historic,

and we're ready to make history together. The path to

victory runs through Nevada and the culinary union and we will deliver Nevada

for President Kamala Harris and Vice President Tim Walls.

That last sentence is quite a statement.

Does the Union have the pool to do it?

Well, maybe.
