Well, howdy there internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump's helicopter story

and how it continues to take strange twists and turns.

First, a quick recap of how this story started.

Trump told a story about being with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown

in a helicopter when it had to make an emergency landing.

He also said Brown told him bad things about Vice President Harris.

The story was told during that weird press conference.

Okay, so Twist 1, Brown came out to say that it didn't happen, the entire story.

In fact, it seems as though Brown was saying he's never even been in a helicopter with Trump, ever.

He also denied ever saying anything negative about Harris to Trump. To the contrary, he indicated his full support for Harris and

added, I would think it will probably be unfair for her to debate Trump.

Adding he is so inept at debating, the absence of knowledge

is appalling.

At this point, people began to speculate that Trump had mistaken Willie Brown for Governor Jerry Brown, former governor of California.

Jerry Brown had in fact written in a helicopter with Trump to survey damage from a fire.

Through a spokesperson, Jerry Brown said there was no emergency landing or discussion of Harris.

So at this point, it looks like Trump mixed up a name. Not a huge

deal really in the grand scheme of things. Then it got weird. Trump went to a minor social media site to say two failing New York

Times reporters questioned my story about a forced landing of a helicopter in a

field with former mayor of San Francisco, Willie Brown, and others.

First of all, it was in New Jersey, not California, and it was Willie Brown, not former Governor Jerry Brown.
