Well, howdy there internet people? It's Bell again. So today we're going to talk about the debate being back on, at least for now.

During Trump's recent rambling press conference, he indicated he would like three debates with Vice President

Harris.

And apparently one of them is the September debate he previously dropped out of.

ABC News said that both have confirmed they will attend the ABC

debate. Harris was in Detroit at a UAW event when she was asked about other

debates.

She said, I'm happy to have that conversation

about an additional debate or after September 10th,

for sure.

She also threw a little shade at Trump's flip-flopping saying,

I'm looking forward to debating Donald Trump and we have a date of September 10th.

I hear he's finally committed to it, and I'm looking forward to it. The

UAW has endorsed Harris. So assuming Trump doesn't get cold feet again, the candidates will square off on September 10th.

Given how far away that date is in Trump time and his indecisive behavior as of late, there might be more waffling between now and then,

if the last few days aren't any example.

Trump could theoretically drop out of the debate and rejoin half a dozen times or so before it actually occurs.

Regardless of any future ups and downs, it's still likely Trump will show up at the debate and any

statements to the contrary should be taken with a grain of salt.

So assuming Trump does actually show up, what does each candidate need to do?

For Trump, his goal would be to show he isn't the repetitive indecisive candidate that tends to be inaccurate with his statements.

This would be best accomplished by actually debating about policy.
