Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about

Trump backing down a lot, backing away from previous positions. And we're going to talk about why that might be happening because you have two

logical reasons that it could be occurring and realistically it could be a

combination of them but it But it's interesting to note.

Okay, so recently, Trump has, he backed away from his position when it comes to being open to placing restrictions on

contraceptives.

He backed away from that. He's backed away from his pro-life stance at the risk of alienating the evangelicals.

He is currently in the process of trying to distance himself from Project 2025.

You're seeing a lot of it.

Now, oftentimes this happens after a primary. During the primary

to appeal to the base, a candidate puts forth a whole bunch of just out their

policies that they know aren't going to go anywhere and it's to energize that base and

they're playing them at that point and then after the primary they engage in

a little bit of shenanigans and they kind of alter their opinion and

they become a little bit more moderate. This is a pretty common practice.

The problem is with the extremes that MAGA goes to,

it's hard to move from the primary to the general and appeal to the

various demographics.

This is why that's saying you can't win a primary without Trump, you can't win a

general with him. That's why that exists.

Trump doing that would be weird. It would be weird.
