economy. Talk a little bit about the economy and we're going to talk about Biden's unemployment problem.

People who understand the economy right now, you have your eyebrows raised.

Don't worry, we'll get there.

So some new numbers came out. New numbers came out concerning the economy. I want to say

there was 206,000 new jobs added and you know that's good news if you look at the headlines you're going to

see stuff like 200,000 jobs added but unemployment has gone up.

Don-dont-dah, there's your bad news, right?

Unemployment has gone up to 4.1%. Okay, what is ideal unemployment? What should the number be if it was really good? If you were to just

Google it you would get the answer of somewhere between 3 and 5 percent. 4.1 is dead center.

I mean not exactly but close enough.

When you talk to economists, I make this joke a lot, but it's true.

If you talk to economists, you talk to three of them, you will get four opinions.

They don't agree with each other, they don't even agree with themselves.

This is one thing they agree on.

Three to five percent.

Four point one is where it has gone up to.

More importantly, that's actually good news right now.

Remember there was that whole mismanaged pandemic thing that was supposed to send us into

recession and the goal was to stick a soft landing, you might remember that term.

This is completely consistent with that.

This is what it's supposed to look like to stick that soft landing.
