So today, we're going to talk about the Trump administration refusing to declare

the weaponization fund over. A few days ago, we talked about how Judge Brinkma of the Eastern

District of Virginia had come to a similar observation about Trump as we have, and basically decided that Trump is not a source.

Then she applied that observation to the entire administration.

She's overseeing a case about Trump's proposed fund that could be used to pay allies.

DOJ argued that the case was moot because they said the fund would

not move forward. The judge didn't want to take the government at their word and issued an indefinite

block on the fund unless acting A.G. Blanche and Treasury Secretary and soybean man, Scott Bessent, declared under

penalty of perjury that the fund is actually dead. And specified the declaration must say

that the government will not take any action to create or operate the anti-weaponization fund, and also that it will not

proceed in any manner or under any name. She gave them seven days to produce the declarations.

DOJ has refused and said in a filing, quote, such declarations are unnecessary and the compelled

testimony of senior officials from the executive branch implicates serious separation of powers

concerns get the new fix-and-fall tariff from British Gas, where prices can only slide down.
