Well, howdy there, Internet people, it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about the Oklahoma school scandal.

Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Ryan Walters, is no stranger to controversy.

This is a guy who supported the Bibles in schools that wound up being the Trump-endorsed

Bibles. He's the guy who wants anti-woke tests for teachers. The list goes on and on. Well, now

there's a new controversy, but this one is a wee bit different. It has already brought comment from the governor and the Senate pro tem and a host of other

political officials in Oklahoma.

And now a sheriff's department is investigating an incident during a State Board of Education

meeting last week that reportedly involved images of women being displayed on the superintendent's

television. The women were reportedly nude. The sheriff's investigation is taking place due to a

request from what amounts to the state's HR office. According to local reporting, Oklahoma State Board of Education members

Ryan Dehridge and Becky Carson said they saw naked women on the TV, but specifics were left bare.

Deithridge released a statement saying, quote, as an appointed member of the Oklahoma School Board, it is my top

priority to protect the well-being of Oklahoma students. We hold educators to the strictest

of standards when it comes to explicit material. The standard for the superintendent should

be no different.

Many of the reference standards were imposed by Superintendent Walters, who led the charge to remove books deemed inappropriate from school libraries in the state.

Fellow Republican and House Common Education Committee Chair Dick Lowe said, quote,

Shocked would be maybe an understatement a little bit. In the position that that person is in,

that's absolutely without a question, not appropriate by any means for any state official,

much less that state official.

Fellow Republican and House Speaker Kyle Hilbert said, quote,
