Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about the House stopping work to avoid the files.

We recently talked about how Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives

were pushing to just leave town to avoid taking a floor vote on whether or not to release some files

that may or may not be damaging to Trump. Well, it looks like they decided not to leave town,

but it does appear they've decided to stop work on all major legislation to limit the Democratic

party's ability to push the issue.

As it currently stands, it looks like the Republican Party is locking down the Rules Committee

and refusing to schedule any votes on major legislation, so they can just ride out the week.

Then they'll be gone for six weeks.

It seems like they hope their base will follow whatever shiny keys get dangled over the next

couple of months and forget about any attempt to get the Epstein files released.

I did get an interesting question from a Republican on the matter.

Quote, where were these interested Democrats for years when they could have released all of it?

They have no credibility because they didn't want to release it when they were in power.

Wow, that's amazing.

This talking point is coming straight from Republicans in the House.
