So today we're going to talk about the House GOP, delays, and how they're failing Americans.

Republican leadership is flat out saying no

to returning to DC to do their jobs.

Right now, Congress is on a break.

Many are calling for Congress to return to DC

to pass supplementary disaster relief funds.

A spokesperson for Republican House Speaker Johnson

said, quote,

to be clear, Congress will act again

upon its return in November

to address funding needs to ensure

those impacted receive the necessary resources.

So there you have it.

As the speaker said before, they'll act in quote, due time.

Until then, it seems pretty clear that Americans just need to wait until their betters in the Republican

Party can find time to fund disaster relief.

Let's be clear on something. No American that pays attention to the appropriations

process trust that Republicans in the House will return and act swiftly to address the budget issues.

Do I have to remind everybody that the government is currently being funded by a continuing

resolution because Republicans couldn't agree on a budget even within their own party.
