Well, howdy there, internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about the Starliner and the International Space Station.

And the situation that's going on up there, why there are so many

delays, and just kind of go over some information because some of the reporting is kind of leading people to believe

that the crew is just stranded there and that's not exactly the situation.

Okay, so the Starliner took off June 5th, I believe, and it was the first crewed mission.

It had some issue with a helium leak and I think another issue with a thruster,

but it's at the space station, the crew is on board the space station.

They were supposed to leave and come back, and it delayed it's been delayed again and it has

led to the idea that they're stranded. NASA has has gone to great lengths to say they are not stranded and could leave.

So if they can leave, what's the delay?

They're using the time to conduct assessments and get a good

handle on what occurred what the problems are some of the the issues they are occurring in the service module and that that module gets jettisoned so it won't be coming back to be studied.

So they're trying to pull as much information as they can while it's up there.

So they can troubleshoot and solve the issues

and assess things with a higher degree of accuracy for future missions.

They're doing an agency level review, there's a whole bunch of stuff going on.

As far as any alarmist stuff about them being stranded and they're being

major issues, my understanding is that they have more than 40 days to kind of figure everything out as far

as supplies and everything like that goes.

I think they have to really start getting them back sometime in mid-August.

So we're not exactly dealing with like an Apollo 13 situation here.
