So today, we're going to talk about Trump, what's happening in Springfield, and what we can take away from it.

Springfield, Ohio is still dealing with the fallout from Trump's false statements

about the community. The woman who posted an early version of the claims has reportedly deleted

the post after clarifying that it wasn't her daughter's

friend that provided the information about an alleged missing cat, but rather quote,

an acquaintance of a friend.

She said she never imagined her post

would fuel hate and conspiracy theories

at the national level.

Since Trump shouted, quote,

they're eating the dogs on national TV,

the Ohio community has been subjected to a flurry of baseless claims.

It's so bad that the parents of a young boy who was lost in the motor vehicle accident

have had to make a public statement asking politicians to stop politicizing their son.

We'll have a video down below about that. The last two days have seen

schools and municipal buildings be forced to close because of threats. City

spokesperson Kern Graves said quote all affected buildings have been

evacuated authorities with the support of explosive detection canines

have conducted thorough inspections and cleared the facilities

listed in the threats. On Thursday a list of city and county offices were closed

as the community exercises caution while facing the continuing threats.
