Well, howdy there, Internet People, Lidsboo again. So today we are going to talk about Rudy, Rudy

Giuliani, and his latest move dealing with the suit against him because I've seen it framed a couple of

different ways and I'm not sure that it's a clear framing of what's going on. I think people are

confusing a legal thing for a truth thing and those two things aren't always the

same. If you missed what happened, Giuliani basically stopped contesting some of the allegations,

most of the allegations, when it comes to the election workers in Georgia who are suing him

for defamation. You know this is this is from when juliani came out and said you know they were handing

you know these USB drives and all of this stuff and

basically at this point he's saying, okay, that wasn't true.

A lot of people are saying and framing it as he admitted,

it's not what he's doing, he's not contesting it. It's not an admission. It's just we're not going to argue about this.

It's a legal move having nothing to do with the truth.

Get the idea of truth out of your mind for a moment.

It's a legal move.

There are two reasons that he could do this.

He might want to do this and it could be both of them. One is that he thinks he has a silver bullet with a different legal defense.

Not that you know the statements were actually true or something like that which is how a lot of people try to go in these

cases, but more that there's something that stops him from being held liable.

And now the judge, since the facts are out of the way,

the judge can just look at those particular issues.

And Giuliani certainly over the last few years has embraced some

questionable legal theories. let's just say.
