So today we are going to talk a little bit about polling numbers.

We're going to talk about numbers and how they're changing and how they are going to

likely impact some of the messaging and tone that you hear from conservative commentators and politicians. The numbers have to do with

Trump. So NPR, PBS News Hour embarrassed. NPR PBS

news hour embarrassed they did a poll

51 percent of Americans

believe that Trump did something illegal

27 percent believe he did something illegal.

27% believe he did something unethical.

19% believe he did nothing wrong and 3% are unsure.

A majority of the country believes he broke the law. An additional 27% believe he did

something unethical. Off the bat, 78% did something that they have to

the bat 78% of Americans well they're going to have a hard time they have something

that they have to overcome in order to vote for Trump.

Only 19% believe he did nothing wrong,

that it was a perfect phone call,

that it was, you know, it's prosecutorial misconduct that you know blah blah blah

only 19% these are not winning numbers.

Now, as bad as that is, there's something else because that's all voters.

You know, some of those, some of those are Democrats when you're just

looking at Republicans. Last month in June, same poll. 50% believed Trump had done nothing wrong. This month, it's 41%.
