Newsom mocking Trump and readying the redistricting fight. The California governor and his team

seemed to be having a bit of fun at Trump's expense, but beyond that, it was actually a bit of good political strategy.

Trump's worry about his policies causing the Republican Party to suffer losses led to him

pushing a nationwide redistricting effort to override the American people and allow politicians

to choose their voters instead of the other

way around. Governor Newsom posted a letter to Trump basically telling him he was playing with fire

and to call off the redistricting and gerrymander effort. If he didn't, California would respond to

Trump's plan.

Trump didn't call off his plans.

That led to social media posts openly mocking Trump's bizarre posting style.

One said in all caps, quote, Donald Taco Trump, as many call him, missed the deadline. California will now draw new,

more beautiful maps. They will be historic as they will end the Trump presidency. Dems take back the house. Big press conference this week with powerful Dems and Gavin Newsom, your favorite governor.

That will be devastating for MAGA.
