Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about Trump

saying the Pentagon is next for Musk and Doge. Okay, so Trump has indicated that Elon's team

will be going after the Pentagon and the education department are next. Now, it's worth noting, while there have been a lot of

disruptions and headlines, we haven't as of yet seen any actual cut recommendations that have

gone to Congress. Some right-wing fiscal hawks who actually understand the Constitution and the

budgeting process are starting to worry they're being

played and that there won't be any significant cuts at all. I personally think they plan on

attempting an end run around the Constitution, but we'll see. Either way, Elon and Company are headed to the Pentagon.

Now, there's definitely room for cuts here.

This isn't like a lot of the other agencies they've looked at,

where they just disagree with them ideologically,

so they want to cut the funding.

The Pentagon has a lot of fat that can be trimmed, billions. Not enough to get

them their $2 trillion per year goal, but some substantial cuts. Now, the question is whether or not

Elon is the person that can actually make the cuts. Recently, he posted, quote, American weapons programs need to be completely redone.

The current strategy is to build a small number of weapons at a high price to fight yesterday's

war. Unless there are immediate and dramatic changes made, America will lose the next war very badly.

That's an observation, but it's a little simplistic.

U.S. weapons development doesn't have a strategy.

It has several, for several different types of wars and theaters.

Immediate and dramatic changes.
