So today, we're going to talk about the ongoing fracturing of the Magaverse and how it is likely

to create a scenario where Trump might have to intervene in the growing dispute.

First, a quick recap.

Two of the most prominent people in Trump's circle unintentionally sparked a deep round of infighting.

It started with Ramoswamy posting to social media in support of allowing immigration of people in tech fields.

This drew a small backlash from the MAGA community.

Musk stepped in and made it worse by backing Ramoswamy and appearing to agree with the sentiment

that immigrants were needed because Americans were too dumb to train.

From there, it spiraled into Musk receiving pushback from all over the loose coalition of MAGA.

There were a lot of right-wing influencers on Musk's social media site that had issues with their accounts.

At least a dozen right-wing commentators are reported to have lost their blue checkmark,

which lowers their visibility and also removes

their ability to monetize their content. This, of course, drew condemnation from large sections of the

right, primarily because Musk build himself as a freeze peach guy. We have to remember that there were a lot of

allegations of big tech censorship, and Musk was supposed to put a stop to it. It got worse when

Musk suggested, quote, contemptible fools must be removed from the Republican Party, root and

stem. Many in the Republican Party assumed

they were the contemptible fools he was talking about. It started a new round of attacks and

infighting and division. It got so bad that must came back hours later to clarify, saying, quote,

The contemptible fools I'm referring to are those in the Republican Party who are hateful,

unrepentant racist. They will absolutely be the downfall of the Republican Party if they are not
